Johannesburg - A G4 security guard was held up at a Pick n Pay branch in Protea Glen in Soweto on Thursday morning, Johannesburg police said.

"The guard had collected money from the store and was leaving when three armed men confronted him," Inspector Kay Makhubele said.

A cash box and the guard's firearm were taken.

"The gang fired several shots into the air as they fled but no injuries were reported," he said.

More like everywhere but JHB and Soweto independence. Oh and Pretoria because of the blue bulls supporters.

I'm serious . Met some people the other night who were living in JHB and hating it. They were dead set on leaving the country. A friend suggested they just try somewhere other than JHB first , they went south west and haven't looked back. 99% of the people who hate the country seem to come from JHB. Makes you think.

Yeah, makes me think why our government doesn't try to fix things in Gangsters paradise, also known as Gauteng...

Maybe because they have all their bodyguards and don't care about anyone else living there who may be vulnerable.

We need a government who care about the people, bottom line... this one doesn't.:(
