Casinos - making me poor

I just recently reviewed my banking statement and I was suprised at how much I have blown with all 8 Credit Cards... Makes me want to vomit and throw up.

Lucky I can cover it for another 30 months, then will have to start looking at becoming a pimp to afford such luxury.

I am serious I have blown R100 grand on one credit card, not going to mention the whole amount I have thrown you might come and kill me. :)

And here some of us work until the sweat drops like rain :( but Richard is blowing his small change. Life :rolleyes: lol :p
 
Pretty sure you're not allowed to gamble on credit, so it sounds a bit odd... unless you get cash advances on the credit card, then use the cash to gamble?
 
I am going to stop gambling.

I have someone in my life now. So, now no more getting bored and doing anything can be more with her.

I still have to work, make sure my staff are at work invoicing my clients. I do go to the occasional meeting. If I am needed :P Just sign off all the cheques - pay the staff. :)

You think that is worst my mate at X casino gambled R20 million as pocket change.
I felt like such a poor man :(

You could maybe sue the casino... but it'd still be your fault. No-one held a gun to your head and forced you to do it.

Besides, I doubt casino's even have the facility to use credit cards, since it's illegal.
 
If you can afford it Richard and it's not a problem, then by all means enjoy yourself. If you can't however and do it to prove something to someone, anyone, then stop with it.

Your a cool guy, but telling anyone how much you actually own is a bit off base if you ask me. Many people have money and success, but what makes them great is how they live their lives. Not by throwing it all away, but by using their talents and resources to make everyone elses life better.

You know you can.

They do have credit card facility for a long time. Just go to any cashier and ask you want money with your credit card... I am being honest, you can actually take the cash from any casino :)
 
By using your credit card at a casino (also online casinos), you can withdraw your daily limit on each card you have. You are, however, in controll of your card(s), so you cannot sue anyone for the amount(s) you withdraw!

I am not worried how much I have to pay off -- just they robbing me, and as she said nobody forced me to play.. Advertising on the highway made me travel another route...

Everyone is successful in life. I wont throw it away now full breaks full ahead, I know people that have thrown companies worth millions, from Supermarkets 42 if not mistaken, shopping mall, etc.

Scary place to be. I could be ending up in the street any moment.

You know you have received a few gifts, we all have and it's measured differently. If you had to give me 100K right now, I wouldn't take it to be honest. Reason being, I'd rather work for it as you have, although it would be easier to have it already, working for it isn't about the reward, but the fact that I received my own gifts at my own time.

May sound a bit weird, but we can break gifts we receive, we can even toss it in the rubish if we like, but do we really want to?

I do have a foot to stand on by the way. I just read my NEDBANK CREDIT CARD STATEMENT.

NB : To avoid finances charges on purchases shown on their statement payment of the total balance has to be received by Nedbank Limited Card. Division by : x/x/x Cash Advances/withdrawals, electronic transfers, foreigh exchange, casino ship purcahses or fuel purchases are excluded from this Condition. Terms and condition apply..

I also hate the ads on the highway
I save R12K for university to studie and then seen an ad on the highway of a trip to dubai for only R8000 with returns flight, R12000 for a week at Central Hotel and when i got there they quoted R22000 for returning, Hotel fees of R26000.... and spend the rest! But i enjoyed it at start
Now suffering saving up to cover it up because of the trveling agent!

Remember one thing you've one life enjoy it to the fullest you might not be here tomorrow :) Remember you will experience traveling the world as many people ndo not have the opportunity to do so :) Best of lucky with you study money :)

limit your amount , because banks close on weekends and a person only does mistakes with his money at weekends. When the weekend arives you will say increase the limit next week but on monday you will say the limit is right and you did the right thing!]
