Looking for Casio's "newer" scientific calculators, FX-991EX (Not ES), but can't really find it anywhere in SA.
Anyone perhaps know a place where I can purchase it?

Ah okay, was figuring that. The EX just has some nice features, such as 4x4 matrices.
WantItAll is just extremely expensive. What does eBay customs costs and taxes etc usually amount to ?

Can't go with the HP's as it is for academic purposes (tests), and the 991EX is one of the better calculators allowed for tests and exams. But thanks for the links I see HP has some nice calculators I might have use for. The HP Prime also caught my eye.
I bought it off eBay, shipping from India, anyone perhaps know how long it normally takes from there ?
I recently ordered some items from China and I know that can take a while, took about 3 and a half months before I received it. Is it the same for items shipped from India ?

Is the 991 EX better than the 991ZA plus II?

Good question, haven't look at these in years, lol.... quick glance I'd say the EX is still better, appears to have more features and a more graphically "advanced" display ? Might be mistaken.. I have not had hands on experience with the 991ZA Plus II.

Thank you, I ended up buying it and I am very happy with it so far. It allows the calculation of up to 4 unknowns while the 991ZA only allows up to 3, that was my deal breaker, wouldn't want to wish I could do 1 more unknown. A small issue I noticed is that the 991EX doesn't have the previous answer function, which the 991ZA does, was that a problem for you?

Previous answer as in 2 answers back, or previous answer as in the answer that was just calculated?

I don't know, I just used the variables if I wanted to save more historical answers. Can you give an example of the type of calculation so that I can understand the use case a little better? Only thing I can think of might be iterative procedures, but it was a long time ago, can't remember how I did them, will have to go check again. Nowadays I use Matlab / Python etc. if I want to do more complex calculations, so not using a handheld calculator unless it is a simple plus minus calculation, haha.
