I love cooking with cast iron
Here are some of the items I have
There is a number 2 Afritrail potjiepot in my caravan at the dam, so no pic of it here

Number 10 which uses a number 3 lid
Found this abandoned at a campsite so I took it home and cleaned it, my Falkirk lid fits perfectly
This pot makes a perfect camp bread as it is easy to get the bread out

Bought one of these, covered with rust, for R5 at some Durban market about 15yrs ago - I use it very often, but mostly for pan-roasted seeds for garnish... which is not what a real cast iron skillet should be used for!

^ Nice collection there @Other Pineapple Smurf . That Cadac potjie is a very unique shape, never seen anything like that.

I always clean my cast iron immediately after use with hot running water and as little washing up liquids as possible as Ive heard these can penetrate the cast iron. I am also so done trying to keep it oiled, it creates a sticky residue.

Now what I do is once it is bonedry I spray a very very very fine coat with Spray and Cook and this works 100% perfect, no rust and no oily residue.
