There are 5 other female athletes with similar elevated testosterone levels competing, in addition to Semenya, one being India's Dutee Chand, who was responsible for overturning the IAAF's ruling on testosterone levels limits imposed onto female athletes. I wish the names of the other 4 would also be made known so that the situation is de-personalised off Semenya. All three medal winners are very muscular and "manly" so I don't know why there is such a big controversy around Caster's head.
Congrats to her, she won that fair and square.
Limpopo - Caster Semenya's grandmother hopes her granddaughter's Olympic gold medal in Rio earlier this morning will finally put all the naysayer's opinions to bed.
"It goes without saying that Mokgadi (referring to Caster) is simply amazing. Her win just proved once again that you can't put a good person down, no matter how hard you try," said 88-year-old Mmaputi Sekgala.
She was one of the millions of South Africans who woke up in the early hours of this morning to witness Semenya display a stellar performance in the 800m women's finals.
The grandma was joined by her grandson Kgabo Sekgala and his wife Makoena Sekgala as well as their four children in huddling around a small TV to watch the nation's heroine in action.
People bitch because Semenya's body gives her an unfair advantage. As for the Bolt argument - I am still confused as to why he as a male athlete is used in comparison to Semenya, a female athlete? Not just by you, by many others in the media as well.

People don't bitch because Bolt's body gives him an unfair advantage.
Can't put it simpler than that.
And the only people who'll be at a loss are the male and lesbian fans oggling the one or two hotties... MehFemale athletes are simply going to start boycotting these events.
Muscular and manly is not what's behind the controversy is it?All three medal winners are very muscular and "manly" so I don't know why there is such a big controversy around Caster's head.

I hereby retract my earlier statement of BeerIsNotGood being the only contender for the stupid award this year.Cut off Bolt's sausage and stick him in the "women's" race. Simple.
Yeah, because sport doesn't need any paying spectators to be sustainable...
Testes is not a natural part of a females body. Her high testosterone levels are a natural part of her physiology. Bolt's long legs are a natural part of his, they both give benefits in their respective disciplines, why is one regarded as being less fair?

I doubt losing a few narrow minded spectators will have a lasting effect on the sustainability of Olympic sport in general.
Well they are naturally occurring in Caster, or do you think some evil doctor implanted them at birth?
Oh, so now anyone who's thinks that only women should compete in women's sports is "narrow minded". Well, in that case, you'll soon find out that we're the majority (despite the perception created by the liberal media).

I don't see how this has got anything to do with being liberal or conservative. But given your retarded nick and previous posts I don't expect it to make any sense.A libtard who insults anyone who disagrees with him by questioning their intelligence... How original.
