Any suggestions on an effective cat deterrent that can be used on grass?

There's a particular area in my garden that's being messed continuously. I've tried those citrus smelling sprays but they are not effective.

Cat, grass? I have lived my life with cats. What is happening? A cat won't pee or pooh on grass like dogs do, so it can't be that. So, tell us more?

Vanilla essence

I tried everything and you know what worked?!
You don't?

Okay I'll tell you then
A motion activated toy.

They'd literally skid on the spot when trying to race off, so Funny

Then they got to understand it was a toy but still scared of it

Which is part of the problem because those little fckers will destroy your plants, they even climb into pot plants and destroy stuff because when it's raining little miss whiskas doesn't want to get wet so they climb into the pots undercover where it's dry.

First time ever I hear someone complain about free fertilizer.

What you want it a tomcat rescued from a factory stray litter. You should wait until it is partially feral before rescue, then just feed it, so that it remains in the area, it will keep all the other male cats away.

My mom brought a kitten home from a factory, and then when no one took the last kitten, she brought it home as well (only a few days later). The first was a normal domesticated cat, the second one never was "100%" domesticated, but damn did that cat keep other cats away, the only cat he tolerated was his brother. He would square up against the biggest cats in the area (he was a really small cat) but he punch above his weight.
