I'm busy planning a route from my patch panel to the front of my property for cameras, furthest point will be about 60m.

I should be ok with POE for 60m over cat6, but I want to put inline couplers/joiners in a couple of places since we are going to be doing some renovations and it will be easier to undo/redo if I have can just cut the cable and join like this.

I may run a full length in initially and when renovating cut the cables and join with a coupler again, but I'll see. Question though, anything I should worry about when it comes to using these simple female to female couplers? POE passthrough, etc...

Those are fine..

Just tape them shut as well. They'll only rust if you use them outside at your beach house anyway, so...

If I use them then I'll be sure to put them in a sealed enclosure
