Cataclysm : Removed content

Even though I don't have a hunter in WoW, It has been my favourite class type in all MMO & RPG's. I'm glad they're going back to the vanilla style of using focus instead of mana. A hunter with mana made NO sense. I might just roll one now.

As for changes, best you head on down to Zul Gurrub to grab your Zulian Tiger / Raptor mounts before it gets removed as well.

Looks like mages are going to COIN it with portals now that they're removed from Dala / Shattrath. I won't mind it if they remove portals... s'long as they INCLUDE Auction Houses.

Gah! Been soloing them mount bosses for the last few months and no drop. :(

ZG pug spams in general were bad enough, now it just got a lot worse. Anyway great changes overall. I am a little sad Ashenvale is getting such a dramatic makeover with volcanic activity present, was always one of the nicer looking zones with its forests and secluded fishing spots.

Anyway, bring on expansion already!
 
Guys, off topic but do you think they will release this mega-oh-so-huge-break-my-hard-disc-drive-in-two-pieces Patch on the expansion disc when it arrives?
 
would they? considering the previous 3 were all single dvds. and if they add patch 4.0.1 on it they would have to add a 2nd dvd in. I dont see blizz doing that tbh. and I doubt Cata is only gonna be 2 odd gb

You are forgetting that alot of the old data is being taken away.
 
aye thats true, but who says that the new data (including the 5.2gb patch) will fit on one dvd. I for one doubt that highly. as for the old data, it will more than likely just be rewritten/coded

You are aware that you get single DVD's with almost 9GB worth of data on it right?

I think I have one NAG disc with just over 8GB worth of data on it.
 
last i heard it was 7.summin gb per disc. my bad. still, the new world only comes up to 4gb? considering, say for instance, the icc patches in total were about 1/1/2gb, and that didnt change the whole world
 
Well if I pay for the game, they should give me two dvd's then! The Wotlk disc came with all the data up to "3.something". So Cataclysm should be the same.
 
Probably the worst change to cata is raiding... 10 + 25 become linked:

If you down Marrowgar in 10 you can't do him in 25 for that reset

fail >.>
 
Oculate, depends how you look @ it.

Doing a boss 2 x each weak cause u want gear and emblems quicker etc gets you 2 x quicker bored/tired of it.
or
You will actually spend a bit more time doing alt raids and having fun with a different toons
or
You will have some more time for Rated BG's & Arena

etc
