CAUTION: StandardBlank Scam SMS

So no matter how many times you read about these, I almost got caught out by this one:



I was already clicking on the link when I saw the 'StandardBlank' in the URL ... *facepalm* Closed the window coz I don't need any of those nasties in my browser.

The number, in case anyone is wondering, is: +2787050086051250

Yup, just got it now, im going to report it to the registrar.


My PC AV blocked it upon visiting it.

shouldnt need to rely on av etc.Just common sense.You should NEVER reply to any sms , emails , telephone calls etc.Best is to contact the bank /company directly and confirm.If you follow this method you should never get scammed.

Also: No bank with send a URL in a SMS, if it does have a URL it's a scam SMS.
