Correction though, it was a z-wave system and not zigbee.

More surprised at the failure rates. Wouldn't have figured that 100,000 MTBF hours = a device fails per month...at least not intuitively. Obviously does check out mathematically

Old story: Early computers used thermionic valve relays. A MTBF of 1000 hours meant that one relay failed every few minutes, making them unreliable to the point of being useless...
