Hi All,

Like the other group, I am looking for anyone interested in starting a study group who will be attempting their LAB in the next year or so.

I have already investigated some study resources and will be creating a new dropbox group for the R&S track.

I have a different way of tackling this one and would like to run it by anyone else who will be joining.
It would be good to have a constant skype chat group going as well i think, to ask questions etc.

Let me know

/EDIT/

I found the INE / IPEXPERT forums quite lack lustre with their responses, hence the local study group with people who will participate a little more (hopefully)

Although not really focusing exclusively on the R&S rack anymore, I am in.
I actually enjoy the Security thread as well, and I think if we can have the R&S one going it will be very valuable.
The Cisco Learning Network forum is a great platform as well, but i like the idea of having something local.
Kudos for taking the initiative with this.

Hi Gents

I am in two minds at this stage whether to commit to the R&S track, cause as you know it takes up 101% of your time ;)
I do have access to 2 R&S lab stacks so it won't be a problem for lab time. Maybe this can push me to commit lol

I know the feeling Kh. The fruit it bears at the end of the day makes it worth it. I myself am realigning myself to the Data Center track, and that in itself is a pain in the backside, especially trying to figure out why on God's green earth is Cisco trying to do switching at layer 3 on the Nexus gear... :-) Muppets!

Well, i am gearing to do this in January 2014.
I will probably start hitting the studies full on again 1st August. I noticed that 6 months is about the most i can do before I start going insane.

The learning network is ok, but i was hoping for something a little more.
What i tried with the security thread (which didnt work) is what i want to try again.
Get a study timetable which everyone attempts to stick to. That way, we can all go through the same topics at the same time, and if anyone hits any bumps or has any concerns, we can all work together to get a solid all round understanding of things.

I think that's a good idea. It will be difficult, considering everyone's schedules and work/family commitments, but I think having some structure is good. I have a timetable (down to the day) on what I used for my R&S studies last year based on the blueprint which I am more than happy to share if you want to have a look.

Just was the dates and locations for the 2014 mobile labs. Still no Data Center (sad panda), but who will be pushing for the R&S lab next year?

Im definitely going for Jan 2014.
I have taken 2 weeks off which ends after the public holiday, then im going to start the preparation work!

Good gosh! I just saw my other post, only noticing my severe dyslexia kicking in again.. no wonder my configs never work...
I'm also keen, and looking to do the DC lab in Brussels in April/May... still hoping they introduce it to the mobile labs by that time. In a bit of a lull as far as studying goes, hectic busy at work. Need to kick it into high gear again soon.
