The night i got sentech, i installed CCproxy, cos one of the mywireless users told me to, ive been been having **** ever since, now i disable the ccproxy and i connect first time... so far so good, my error was PPP which basically ive been told is completely network based on my side, is it possible that the ccproxy was the problem?

Before you send the modem back, take it to another MyWireless user's place, and swap it out for their modem, and see if the problem persists. That's the one surefire way to tell whether it's the modem or something about your location/setup.

I dont think it was CCproxy. I couldnt get that thing working either. There are other, much better ways of doing what you want to do..

Why dont you completely remove the dialler software/drivers and re-install everything. Unplug and remove everything. Or try it on another PC in your house.

While its possible that the modem is faulty, its still highly unlikely. You dont wanna send it in and have it returned 2 weeks later with no problems (thats an expensive 2 weeks of service) and on top of that, you will probably have to pay Berco again.

Instead of running CCProxy, try something like Kerio Winroute. It's not the modem.
