Hi guys, maybe I can pick your brains on this one.
There's a site where a CCTV recorder is connected to the net through a 3G router to allow for remote access.
A Telkom mobile sim is used and all the correct ports are open.
This will work for about 5-10 seconds and then the connection gets cut and only a router reset will sort this out.
After the video connection gets cut the ports seem to remain open but no further communication with the recorder is possible.
First router on site was a Tenda, it has subsequently been swapped out for a D-Link with no improvement. Modem used in both cases is a D-Link DWM-157.
What could be causing this to happen? The modem? Or has something changed on Telkom mobile's network?
