CD/DVD Drive

Gents my CD/DVD drive works but some cds it just wont read, sometime it ready games only and wont write cd. Updated to the newest firmware. Is there any point in battling or should i just get a new drive

are these problems new & it worked fine before?

You could try reinstalling the drivers.

& if not fixed - buy a new one. They are cheaper than repairing old drives sometimes.

new drives these days are so cheap, you are better off buying one for +-R200.00...
