I hope someone here can help me. Cell C is stealing my data, and the funny thing is, don’t think they care. I got myself 2 cell C 2 GB x 12 months R1299.
The first one I got on the 6th July 2012 Cell C Somerset West. Every month I got my 2 GB data on the 6th. Then I got myself another one on the 28th of September Cell Canal Walk. From that day on, my data went missing/didn’t load and service from Cell C stopped.
On the 6 October, my data didn’t load, only on the 28th October. Then nothing on the 6 or 28 November.
After I explained my story about 8 times over to the operators, I got through to a lady called Alene Kokora. I think it was the 6th of November. She was a supervisor at the Cell C help center in Durban. She said that my data was loaded on the 5th of November, and that I used all the 2GB at once. (Impossible, because my pc was off, and my wife complain that there was no internet) AND I loaded my data on the 6th of the month remember.
Alene was very helpful and promise to call me back on the 27thand 28th of November just to check what was going on. (She even made entry on her calendar to call my back, she told me.)
Great, I though. She will phone me back, and we can solve this matter. I mean, Cell C did change their logo and all for the better. Even Trevor Noa was there CEO. Customer Experience Office (or something like it)
Nobody phoned me…
I phoned there call center again to speak to her, ( I don’t want to explain the same story over and over)but every time, nobody know who this mysterious lady is. Finally, after many calls I got through to someone who knows her. A gentleman with the name of Thasveer Devnath. He is a supervisor in Durban. The date was 6 December 8:52 am.
He also send her an email to call me back, as here shift only started at 11am. Nobody phoned me back.
If Cell C wants to take on the other networks, start with what matters. It is called SERVICE. The rest will follow. Try it, it really works..
