Cell C BIS speed is slow

My wife just went from a 8520 to a 9320 and it made a massive difference. My daughter has a 9300 and she is on CellC with no problems.

Because an 8520 doesn't have 3G but a 9320 does, perhaps? Or is BIS independent of that?

Edit: "support 3G" sounds better than "have 3G".

I switched over from Vodacom to Cell C also BIS and found the speeds to be very improved from Vodacom.

I have a 9300. Been using it for more then a year now on cell c. I get high speeds like 150kbs average bt for this month da speed seems to be capped to 12kbs. I'm just finding out so I'll know if cell c capped the speed like mtn n vodacom

Also having problems with signal here in Midrand. BIS seems to be down at the moment as well.
