Cell C Black streaming box launched

This is all fine and well (at a stretch, I guess), but I wonder what this pretend-a-provider is going to do about the state of their network and more than that, how they handle their customer service. Being told to wait 2 to 3 years before the connectivity issue in my area will be addressed is inexcusable.

This makes the Telkom LIT box look bloody spectacular in comparison.
 
This little black box is crap. I saw USB and thought ah, I will just plug in my HDD and stream. Like the old Mediator box... Got a surprise when testing it out. I need to mention I have not bought it myself. I got it as part of a Fibre deal with CelC. I signed up for 50/50, uncapped, unshaped, no FUP for only R900 per month in October 2018. I was sceptical but for the price compare to all the other service providers it was a big special. Installation free, Modum free, Activation free and first 3 months for free. The Black was for free. I can honestly say for the almost 6 months I am using them I never had any issues, downloads fast etc. I am a torrent freak, so have tested it thoroughly...
