Cell C - Can't phone/SMS

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

For the past two days (that I've noticed) I can't phone and can't send SMSs.

I also can't use the funny Cell C menus and menus like Capitec, not sure what you call them MMI menus or something.

I'm not the contract holder so I don't think customer service will help me, anyone who can suggest something else until I can get the contract holder to phone?

EDIT: Data is working fine and I can receive SMS/Calls, mainly use Whatsapp so I don't really phone or SMS regularly so I don't know for sure how long it hasn't been working, possibly more than 2 days.
 
Do you have a spending limit on the contract? If you exceed the limit then this would be typical. The best is to request the contract to revert to prepaid when your concessions are depleted so you can't run up a bill or exceed any limits. This might not be possible for all contracts. If you are already on this type of arrangement then you might try loading some airtime to regain lost services..
 
I restarted my phone a few times and now all of a sudden it works again.

So not 100% sure whether it's Cell C or my phone.

EDIT: I definitely had both minutes and SMS left.
