Hi there.

My Cell C contract is coming to an end in May. I am getting a MTN contract from this month, on a new number. Then I would like to have my current CELL C number as a pre-paid number.

Is it possible to transfer my current Number from my ending contract over to Pre-Paid?

Thanks

yes, they will normally do that be default

Or you can put the CellC number on a cheap package and it becomes your 'landline'.

I've changed my MTN contract to an Anytime 100 contract, got a cool Nokia 6210 Navigator for free and it costs me R129 a month.

Still beats the R86 line rental you must pay Telkom...and then you haven't even made a phone call.

*I moved to Vodacom for my 'main contract', wanted an iphone badly. Was so worth it. :)

Interesting idea.
Not sure I want another contract at the moment though. And I could always start another contract when needed.

Surely Cell C prepaid isn't as good as say Vodacom though? So would it be possible to move it to Pre-Paid Vodacom? Or is this asking too much?

I think it's only contract numbers that you can port to another network, not sure about that.
