Hi guys hope someone can help/advise me. A few days ago I bought two of those daily 1GB packs because I wanted to download a rom for my g2. I stayed up till 1am and proceeded to switch to the 3G network and start the download. I kept waking up to monitor the download and around 6am it had downloaded almost a Gig. You can imagine my suprise when I checked a half hour later and the download had reset to 0. The following day I tried it again and the same thing happened again. I stay in a village in the Transkei and Cell C put up a brand new tower a year or so ago. I am the only person using their 3G network at that time, why would their download speeds be so slow ? Anyway just wated to highlight the issue of Cell***** resetting downloads once a bundle has expired.

Poor Cellc coverage or a disconnection from Cellc's side could also have interrupted the download. It could have been device related,signal related,tower outage,packet loss or even computer related. So many factors could have played a roll. SO technically it could have been a Cellc problem.
@gwaji If there is a torrent available I would suggest going that route. It is resumable and the best way to complete it. If there is a torrent available just download the utorrent app from the play store and download it onto your phone. Would work much better. That said sadly there is no scheduler for the utorrent so you would need to be awake to start the download.
