Speaking of the Samsung D500, it's a series 40 phone right?

Series 40 is a nokia term AFAIK for a certain range of their phones (usually the older ones).

Tried d/ling the Mxit app onto my phone and got an "Invalid File" error while d/ling. Anyone know what the prob might be? It's a 6610i.

Thnx

I tried downloading it to tonight, kept getting an error message saying 'No Server Access'. Friends had the same prob when they tried

yip...also cant download it, they must be having problems

Sorry, I only got it working with my symbian phone - no Series40.

Yep, biltonguy is correct - Series40 is the classification for Nokias pretty much from the 3510i to the 8000-phones. This EXCLUDES the Nokia 6600, 3650, 7610, NGage, 6260, 6630, 6670, 3230 and a few others - these are the Series60 phones, running Symbian OS. The Series80 phones are the new N7710, while Series 90 are the communicators - 9210, 9210i, 9300 and 9500.

Samsung D500 runs Samsung OS and are quite differant.

Mxit works like a dream on my phone and my brother's, actually quite reliable. Perhaps it was only a matter of their server being down.

I spoke to the people at ClockSpeed and they said it doesn't work with the Nokia 3220, but then why's it on their wap page...
