With no warning having lost service at midnight on the 12th December and sending many support requests to get the service restored the following message is given as the reason why we have lost service. "Cell C informed Internet Solutions that their roaming agreement with MTN will not apply to the Cell C services sold via Internet Solutions with immediate effect as of Friday last week, since this took place we have been receiving reports of clients experiencing no connectivity in outlying areas of the Cell C LTE network. If you are affected please contact our support desk for further assistance."
Well how nice of them . The Cell C service we have has no indication whatsoever that this is a roaming service. In the past there were icons or the use of the letter R displayed Whats the point of the roaming services if they can't be used. Is it just to impress the public and the regulator that they have national coverage and as usual people living in remote areas are discriminated against. Becareful of these LTE for the home deals emanating from CellC. They sign you up and pull the plug because it doesn't suit them
