Cell C fixed wireless Dropping signal - very poor service

That is if RAIN is available in your area, Cell C footprint much wider, which of course is only relevant if the network is performing. That said I use afrihost for Fibre, Mobile and Fixed wireless (different sites) The only issue is with my Cell C fixed wireless, RAIN no problem same with Fibre and mobile, Afrihost gives great service on all which tells me their issue is as reseller for Cell C. Afrihost main problem is communicating what the cell c issue is.

I don’t think they know what the Cellc issues are

Our Fixed Wireless Clients do have the option to migrate to either the Cell C or RAIN network from the ClientZone. By going to Connectivity, selecting your Fixed Wireless and then choosing the Migrate option.
Does this mean that you don’t have to pay the R999 cancellation fee if migrate from Cellc to Rain

I would just like to reiterate his terrible cell c fixed lte is.

It's absolute ****.

The signal had dropped at least 6 times in the just hour.

And I'm supposed have full coverage.

Utter krap

I am sorry that I am only getting to this now. The Cell C issue was fixed, but they haven't disclosed what the official issue was, but I am sure as soon as we do know we'll post it. :)

I know that this was horrible, but as mentioned above it should have been resolved now. How is your connection performing?

Unfortunately you won't be able to. :(
Ok thanks AfriNatic. Can you please give me the last date that we'll be able to do a migration? I received my Cell C simcard today, and although the speed is fine, I have to open some pages about 5 times before they load - my browser reckons I have no connection before the page eventually loads. This is worrying because I think it will have an impact on streaming - which I do at night. I did not have the same experience with Rain (no random disconnects, fairly consistent speeds), so I actually prefer Rain. I would like to test my Cell C simcard out at night (peak hours), and over the weekend as well, before I make a choice. So my question really is - will I still be able to migrate on 29/30 October?
