Cell C Mobile Internet Image Problem???

Has anyone here experienced the following in the past few days???

On my mobile internet on the phone, when i go to any site (google for example), the images don't load (the word google and any image that I'm searching for), and I've refreshed the page so many times, and nothing.

I've had a look at the settings on the phone (SE W850i) and it clearly states, images on. This has happened for the past few days. Even 3rd Party applications that use gprs don't load (ie google mail application).

Connecting my Macbook to the phone and using it the browse the net does work???

I have phone customer care, and got given an answer, "That the gprs network is being upgaded, and it effects certain phones due to their software"

Does anyone have a solution or experienced the same problem?

You could try to delete the GPRS profiles on the phone and reloading them, here's the steps to get it again:

Apart from that, I don't have a CellC simcard to test, but I bet if it's an all around issue, I will be getting a phone call from my mom to say "mxit is not working"

The problem you are describing is not something we have received a query on before. I would agree with the suggestion made by teraside above. Also try the internet connection without routing via our WAP gateways (196.031.116.250:8080). All you need to include in the connection is the APN "internet".
