Is there a point to getting the faster dongles? Will there be one?

From a few reports I have read, international browsing averages around under 3Mbps and local at 7Mbps. So the peak speeds are under ideal conditions, and should depends on the number of users as well on that cell. Would I expect to get 3Mbps international on a HSDPA (3.6Mbps) dongle ( or my smart phone) on a 21Mbps network? 3Mbps is okay with me.

Cell_C, 3 franchise stores i visited priced the white dongle at R649. Has the price increased now as your uptake has increased with the roll-out?
Faster dongle wont help much except for faster uploads, but downloads i have yet to go over 7mb/s.

I think the 21mbps modems is more future proof.

Have 1 x 21 modem already

So no point in having bother modems.
