What some of you are missing here is that this is not new at CellC. Its quarterly sport over there. Its been ongoing as a matter of regularity since Alan joined and the practice just never stopped. The core workforce was thin when I was there, and it just keeps getting worse. Oddly enough its become the norm, so much so, many people just ignore it and carry on. I left behind many good people when I left, I feel truly sorry for many of them.

They want to cut down on numbers..... How much money will this save them? Cut down on the CEO / CFO salary first before you cur down on head numbers. No bonuses for top management until the company is profitable....

Please have counselling on standby.. It's tough getting a job out there. I do hope they pay a package like 5 months salary for the person to get on their feet looking for a job.


Where is CELL C, getting R8 billion from. Didn't they loan money from Nedbank not so long ago. Did they repay back the money.......

Maybe government should bail em our aka Telkom.
