Cell C Speedstick: Other sim card's allowed?

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if it's possible to use other SP sims in the Cell C Speedstick (White and Black models)... Is the software the same as the Vodaphone Mobile Connect (Except for the branding)? - Since if that's the case, it should be possible to use the same region code files as with the VMC/VMB dongle and Cell C region files?....

Install the modem, then uninstall the software but leave the drivers, the create a dial up connection using *99# as the dial up number.

Works on the Vodafone modem

Seems that *99# is universal for GPRS-dialling...

I use my vodacim sim in my cellc modem all the time. Just swap the sims and it connects to vodacom just fine
