Cell C Summerstrand 1/2 day internet. [resolved]

I been having problems with Cell C in Summerstrand PE since Friday 15 April.

I have 2 x 5 gig accounts, one for my Android phone and one for my PC as I work via the internet. Been a woosh customer since December.

During the day I am losing total connection and can not connect to the internet at all. Looking on my DHD it indicates that I am roaming onto Vodacom Towers and at night I am able to connect again at normal woosh speeds. Only thing I can guess is that one of the towers I use to connect to is out of order and that cell breathing enables me to connect at night as coverage for tower 50134 grows.

Over the Weekend I thought it was because of the upgrade but it happened today again causing me to go out and buy data for my Vodacom account.

Can someone on the list point me to a number or place where I can report this issue?

I am also in PE. It seems their infrastructure here is falling apart. I am disconnected every 15 seconds or so. I don't know, maybe their technicians have been deported/arrested again.

Aren't they supposed to be launching 42mbps in the city tomorrow? Would love to see how that goes. Suppose they'll make sure the tower closest to the launch site is working. To any journo's who are attending and may be reading here. After the launch get into your rental car and drive out West (but still within bright red coverage area) and see how it works. Or doesn't.....

As for who to contact. I have had no feedback at all from their online reporting tool or custserv@cellc email. There is a Cell C rep on here who has asked for feedback re towers etc., which I have provided. Your best bet would be to send him a PM.

My half day internet is no more.... guess it was thanx to the launch

Oh well back to my 9 Mb/s
