Cell C to Vodacom

HI,

I currently have a Cell C prepaid sim and want to move to Vodacom contract but keep my number?
Should I first port to vodacom prepaid and then contract or can I get the contract and the port to the new sim?

You can port into Vodacom directly into a contract if it is a contract that you want.

Thanks Ockie, can I buy the phone and contract online and once the phone is delivered then port from cell c to vodacom using the new vodacom sim?

My personal advice....dont do it online. I have seen too many issues where things go wrong and then it is a mission to get it fixed or even to get hold of the people that did it. Just go into a store and be sure to tell the consultant you want to port from Cell C. If it is a Cell C contract, remember to take a Cell C invoice with you.
