Is it possible that the Cell C tower near my house can affect my MTN signal? The tower was installed last year and about a month ago Cell C was doing some maintenance on it, now my MTN signal is extremely poor and if I don't put my 3G on the signal is dead. Any ideas?

This can happen if both MTN and Cell C shares the same mast.If this is the case probably Cell C moved the direction of the that antennae
No, MTN and Cell-C are assigned different channels within the 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz bands.

There are isolation requirements on co-located antennas, cell c could be causing interference. As has been said, contact MTN, explain the situation to the planner who contacts you.
Is this in JHB?
