So, I checked on my phone via *147# a while ago when I can upgrade, and it said today, 2014-11-03. I call them to find out which phones I can get.

Then they tell me that actually the upgrade date is a month later, since they are "upgrading" (I call it modifying, but whatever) their system so that clients can only upgrade after 21 months from now, instead of the 20 months it was prior.

The lady said she will escalate it for me, to see what we can do. Now, I pretty much need the phone now - my S3 I got from them stopped working about 3 months ago. Am I within my rights to have it given to me now, since this was their info?

My wife went to upgrade her line with them on Saturday and ran into exactly the same issue . The info on her phone said she was due an upgrade in November but yet their system in store says December . Anyhow after waiting for 30 odd minutes the end result was she has to wait until December now to upgrade . Rather annoying .

Lot's have tried, but unfortunately not,
They are aware the date is incorrect,(1Month early) haven't fixed it yet.

If you log onto the cellc the my account on cellc website it will display the correct date.

Indeed, thanks. It shows the correct date on there.

Pretty **** management to be honest. If you update something like that, make sure you have it in line at ALL the places instead of just a few BEFORE making the change, instead of one by one.

Tell me about it...
I was extremely Pi$$ed off when I couldn't upgrade, had to stick out 1 month...

Indeed. We're mentally prepared for our new baby and everything.

It's like waiting for your girlfriend to see her for 3 months, and on the day she's supposed to come back, she calls you on her way to the airport telling you she's flying to London and will see you another extra month later. Blue balls, dude, blue balls. :erm:
