So, there 99c per minute (per second billing) is really tempting. Probably gonna ditch Mtn. Although I would love to move to Cell C, I have heard bad things about call drop rates etc. Anyone here have Cell C? Any problems, issues etc? Any feedback would be appreciated especially from those that moved to Cell C and have had complaints, compliments etc.

I have the same idea, moving to CellC from Vodacom - would be interested in feedback also.

Just ported and 15mins in it is amazing. You can hear the faint back ground noise of angels signing when you make a call, data seems to be delivered in gold plated bytes.

I have quite a few dropped calls or number unavailable, but so do people on other networks... best to go onto the 99c pay as you go and try it out for a month or so- not going to cost you anything more.

Not good enough - I need perfection and no interference from angels....

I moved to cell C a couple of weeks ago, and have not had any dropped calls thus far. I am very happy with them, and I have 3G signal where my other contracts never had before, so it is nice. I think that the call quality is slightly worse than it was with vodacom but I might just be imagining things. You can take out a Straight Up contract for 1 month IIRC, if you want to test it out.

Regards
Jacques
