I was at a Pakistan cell shop yesterday looking for a fast charger. On the spec it say 5v=2.4amp and 12v=1.2amp.
Is the 12 volt a miss print on the item.
Was specifically looking for a USB c and USB output fast charger

Why go to a Pakistani shop? Those are cheap for a reason.
Check this out on takealot: Andowl 100W Fast and High Speed Type C Mobile Phone Charger/ No overheating
This isn't bad for it's price

The regulator has 2 auto-detecting outputs, 12 volts and 5 volts

No need to spend more than R80 on a USB-C charger. The phone has circuitry to regulate the current delivered to the battery

Auto-detecting inputs and outputs have been available for over 10 years. That is why the charger can be powered from 220V (Europe), 110V (North America) and 100V (Japan) without a physical switch

The R80 usb charger will probably give you 10w maybe 15w. Have never seen ones at that price being over 25w

Unless you want it to still be working a month later.

Buy a proper charger that will last and give actual output.

I have had cheapies that last years. The plastic construction on the real cheap (under R35) is poor, so be gentle when plugging it in

A friend's charger would not go into the socket, so he tapped it with the edge of his hand. The plastic disintegrated, there was a flash and the circuit-breaker tripped. He thought he had been electrocuted

Not a misprint, and you will also see 19v as well on some of these fast chargers

If you’re buying a cheap charger, I can only hope you have a phone you don’t mind getting damaged. Buying a good USB-c charger with a few high-speed charging ports is one of the best investments ever. I highly recommend the Ugreen chargers … got one that has powered everything from a laptop to charging my phone and watch every day for a few years without a hiccup.

Just look how pretty: https://amzn.eu/d/8ox8qID
