House mate bought the 2gig package. He got the sim registered and installed the modem without any problems, it seems to connect when you click on "connect" but the browser does not pick up any connection, pages dont load almost instantaneously. Tried to ping google but there is no response.
The modem works fine on my pc. He is running windows xp and was previously using the vodafone/vodacom data card. Its a bit strange that under my network connection the cell c connection is categorised as dial up.
Any ideas?
