How does this CellC 60min free calls during the weekends thing work?

I read that you should only buy at least R10.00 airtime during the week to qualify?

So does this mean I can go and buy a CellC prepair simcard, buy R10.00 airtime, then I qualify for the Free 60minute thing?

Thanks

Correct.

I am not sure whether you have to wait for a week or something like that before qualifying for it, but when I recharge, I get an SMS back to say that I qualified for the woza weekender :D

Wife, sis-in-law and mother-in-law's on cellc so they can natter and natter all weekend long without worrying about a high cellphone bill.

That and prepaid makes it an very attractive proposition.

Cool... DOes anyone know if there is a waiting peroid for this to work?

Another thing: Can you recharge during the weekend to get the woza Weekender, of MUST one recharge during the week?

Hi FaNIX

To qualify for Woza Weekend all you have to do is pick up a Cell C prepaid started pack and recharge it with R10.

A few minutes later you will receive an SMS message confirming that the Woza Weekend promotion has been activated on your line.

There in no waiting period and any recharges made between Monday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59 qualify for the promotion that week. Therefore if you recharge with R10 today (Saturday) you will immediately qualify for Woza Weekend. To qualify for Woza Weekend next weekend you will have to recharge again with R10 during the coming week.

Woza Weekend give you 60min of free calling Cell C to Cell C.

Hope this answers your question.

Cheers :)

C for yourself

Do you have to recharge every week to qualify for the woza? Because I top-up with R150 at the beginning of the month, and it usually last a bit longer than a month :)

Thanks!
