Is it just me or is the network down?

Can't make or receive calls from about 4pm or so....

All the MVNOs on Cellc os also down. FNB mobile, Standard Bank, Virgin Mobile, Lycamobile, Meandyou Mobile all of them are dead. No network no calls no data.....

@rpm Wonder what happened.
 
I'll WhatsApp a relative on cell c fixed LTE and revert ..
 
Can't even call emergency numbers.....

Oddly there l is only 1 tick response so far.. although might just be coincidental I'll enquire when they appear online again.

Can't you just switch over to your Rain or MTN for now???
 
Sigh all the networks are the same it seems. They all get their turn to be down for extended periods of time. Not sure how this is acceptable....

I'm using my fibre connection for data at home. The network is completely down for receiving and making calls too. Was trying to call but keeps on displaying "Not registered on Network"
 
Most likely your tower is completely kaput.
No signal on any bandwidth, even for emergency call.

Yeah I don't know why they think a 4 hour and counting complete network outage is acceptable? Zero info just we apologize our network teams are working on the outage.
