Cellc on iPad

Hi there, im planning on getting the R1999 sim only deal for 5GB a month and then sim swapping it to a micro sim to use with a ipad. Now i see the ipad doesnt support the 900 UMTS so doest this mean i wil only get EDGE then? Anyone else currently using this?

not quite true since the cell c network runs on HSPA+ as well as HSDPA so you will get 3g on the ipad.

Get a Mifi capable of 900MHz WCDMA and use it for the Ipad and computers.

The current iPad cannot do UMTS @ 900MHz which is what Cell-C's 3G/HSDPA/HSPA+ network runs on.

I use a little intellinet 3g/wifi router to get the cell c on my iPad and iPhone, ect..

Yes, the "3" branded unlocked Huawei E585 works like a charm with Cell C !!! I got it on eBay.

Should make your iPad fly !
