With the hype around Cell C's dashboard having some problems and the recent article that states its the software that might be causing the disconnections. Im thinking that a new version of the dashboard would be released when ever that might be.

My suggestion to Cell C is that, like Vodacom allowed its customers to download their vodafone software for free, so must Cell C. Personally software updates of this nature shouldn't cost us more to download

:)

... but at an effective R249.00 for 5GB of data, is it that important? ;)

PS V***com is a swear word around these parts ... :/

Um, the dashboard is about 16 MB, and if you bought the special offer data is about 4c/MB = 64 cents. Straight or budget meneer?

Free!!! Free!!!
There is no such thing :p

To browse their website is free(counts as Zero-rated) not sure if downloading counts towards cap but if I remember correctly it did state on their website.

Before signing up with the 5GB prepaid, I used my prepaid SIM with 0.00 airtime to download drivers from the website and it downloaded without any problems.
