Okay, I need help choosing a new cellphone.

I wanted to get a blackberry bold 9000, but I cannot pay for BIS with my top-up airtime and I would then be paying R372 pm with an outdated phone. I currently have a SE Vivaz Pro.

I managed to get my parents to take over my contract (they spend thousands on airtime anyway), and I thought I could get the contract that is advertised on myBB.co.za - the Vodacom contract offering a blackberry bold 9700 on a top up 200.

It appears that this contract does not exist and I would either have to get the very low end blackberry on a contract (the bb 8520 curve) or the very high end blackberry (9780). The reason why I want it on contract is the service itself is going to cost R1368 over two years.

The blackberry bold 9780 is on a 315 top up for R379pm (blackberry service included):
http://www.vodacom.co.za/portal/sit...nnel=556ba9ae5536c210VgnVCM10000010f3730aRCRD - on the vodacom page it says that it has 1000's of Android apps? I don't think that is true, is it?

So while deciding between which Blackberry to get, I am told that I should rather get an Android phone. On the same top-up 315 contract there is an HTC desire. In this review they rate it better than the iphone and galaxy s: http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...iphone-4-vs-samsung-galaxy-s-702739?artc_pg=9

I also found this link saying that BBM is coming to Android - and then I would not need a blackberry! http://www.geek.com/articles/mobile/bbm-on-its-way-to-ios-and-android-2011033/

Is it true, what must I do? :(
