Cellphone HELP !!

Guys I need some help.
I have a blackberry 9700, love this phone, would never change it for anything.

My contract has expired, talk 500.
I want a new phone and thought I would go 9780 however I have loaded OS6 and dont see the need now.

I am looking at the HTC Desire Z, want a phone with a keyboard.
I dont even know if I will use the phone much lol, just feel the need to buy a gift for myself.
Should I just rather wait for something special?
Ocleroux is helping me out and his advice has been great.

What do you think?

If you dont want to pay in...perhaps have a look at this one? It is not as nice as the Desire HD...but the specs looks respectable and it is upgradable to Froyo. Just dont ask me how you do that! lol

I can advise on deals and what I think LOOKS nice...but I am not expert on phones. I have never actually used Android...but am excited to in the near future. I think lets wait for guys like Kingrob to chip in here and bless us with his Android wisdom. :-)

In fact I will PM him now and demand he give his input. He is very much on the ball *giggles* when it comes to HTC and Android.

why not get a tablet instead of a phone (an expensive one by the looks of it) if you see no need to change/swap your BB? Just a thought :P
 
True. But you probably have wifi @ home... For on-the-move type usage you might have to fork out some extra dough though :/

Are you sure you want one with a physical keyboard? That limits your choices a lot...

Typing on a good, modern touchscreen is really quite nice...

Lol good 1! Why don't u put up the monthly subscription for the contract itself? None of them come with free data bundles?

The Desire Z is a very good choice, but the funny thing is that most people who got themselves the Z, say that they have never used the hardware keyboard, cos the onscreen keyboard is brilliant.

If that is true, I would opt for the Desire HD. :)
 
Hi there, I wonder if someone could help. I have a samsung gio cellphone and I had the pattern lock on it, my son played with the cellphone and now somehow the cellphone is locked and keeps asking me to put in the user name and password for an google account. When I put it in it keeps telling me that the user name and password is invalid. Can anyone help as I can't do nothing on the cellphone and can only receive incoming calls.
