Cellphone spam on Cellc networks

Hi

Anybody getting bombarded with spam on the CellC network?

Once in a while we do get a spammy SMS, but this happens very, very seldom. To date we got a total of three spam SMS'es so far, and we're with CellC more than two years.

Im satisfied with this.

Very few on the normal calling sim, but on my speedstick sim, LOADS, right from day one.

I have never received spam from CELL C, I did however receive a lot of spam from MTN for example, winning a blackberry, winning R1million, and other random sms competition...

On my speed stick nothing, thank goodness the numbers were not on a db

Rather go sue the company that spammed you or ask them nicely to take you off their db..

I know there is a website where you can complain about direct marketing...

None on my phone, dunno if the fact that it's a VC no. ported to Cell C makes a difference. As for my speedstick, no clue, as I only use it in Linux, so don't receive/see the SMSes.
