Cellular costs in S.A insane

Im with Vodacom. I had around R45 in my pre-paid account 3 days ago.
You can imagine the shock I got when a heard that infamous voice, "you have less than R3 in your account..." today. The thing is I barely made any phone calls. One or two here and there.

Vodacom you guys are mad (this includes all those other crappy cellular companies.)
I hope ICASA, for what its worth, get on your tail and pull your prices down.

P.S : wtf is that "happy hour" thing. Looks like a marketing scam. Here's the page and the prices make no sense to me. They look like normal prices. Maybe Im just stupid.

Yea they are thieves.

I have a Family Top Up contract where I get R135 per month but it is not per seconds billing so I end up paying way more for my calls.

Most of my calls are not longer than 50secs so I would really save alot with per seconds billing.

Only use prepaid on 3G . Yep , relatively expensive but worth every cent !

Thank goodness that Hellkom , oops Telkom , has finally been replaced by a more customer friendly company !
