SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - Commuter and Regional carrier, CemAir is delighted to announce the commencement of its scheduled flight service between Bloemfontein’s Bram Fischer Airport and George Airport.

From Thursday 10 December CemAir will offer a daily return flight between the two destinations (excluding Saturdays).

The route will be flown in a CemAir-owned Bombardier CRJ. This 50 seat jet offers unparalleled quietness and comfort in its class. The flight will be 50 minutes from gate to gate with a flying time of around 45 minutes.

CemAir is an established scheduled airline operator currently flying from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein, Margate, Sishen and Plettenberg Bay as well as between Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay. The company was established in 2006 and owns a fleet of 22 aircraft of Bombardier CRJ’s, Beech 1900D’s and Bombardier Dash 8.

More seriously: Best of luck to them. If they can offer it at reasonable cost there will certainly be demand.

They fly CRJ 100. Which is a 50 seater. It competes with Embraer 145 which is also a 50 seater. Cemair bought like a dozen of these aeries dirt cheap from the states. Half of them will be for spare parts.
