centurion 532

im wanting to build a new system and can get a coolermaster centurion 532 for free... the advantage being i dont have to spend money on a new case... the case is very simple which i dont mind... the problem is, its a old case and am worried about space... will this case fit a 550w psu as well as a ati 5850 or even a 5870?

PSU fit isn't a problem.

Not sure on the whether those cards would fit in. I understand the 5870 is perhaps 25cm long. I looked at a pic of a X850XT and also a 7800 in a centurion 532 and there seems to be enough space. The image shows maybe 5cm available on the motherboard tray on the leading edge of the motherboard so I'd suspect it'd fit but be one of those just-just arrangements.

You could just have them measure the tray for you and judge from there.

im worried about cooling though... it only has 2 fans. will temps not get to high?

I don't see that it will if you have decent fans.... I recommend panaflows if you can find them. Or you can cut some holes for fans its really not that hard to do if you really worried about too much heat.

If they're in the proper place then, no, they won't cause a temperature problem.
