Message them and ask them for a public IPHi Guys
I just moved to WebAfrica about a week or so ago and now I have learned about CGNAT
Just a Quick Question - Where to? Who is not on CGNAT ? (via Vuma)
Can MWEB work?

@rustymhYes, Cool Ideas does.
That's why I went to them. I used MyBroadband's research and saw WebAfrica should be the best service. Well I don't agreeThis right here
Something similar on my side.That's why I went to them. I used MyBroadband's research and saw WebAfrica should be the best service. Well I don't agree
Let me tell you guys the full story.... I was with SuperSonic. Best ever Line ever, best ever Speed etc and No CGNAT nonsense.
They suspended me last month. Why? Because THEY stopped my Debit Order 6 months ago! (myself also did not noticed)
I asked them so now what? You suspended me by accident by accidentally not debiting me for it. They never got back to me, most probably because they know that there is NO way I'm going to cough up 6 months worth of Fibre Internet which THEY forgot to debit my account for it.
When I went back to my email, I did saw that they Invoiced me in August last year and never again. Weird thing, on their side, my account was paid in full. ‍O well ......
Which Fibre network are you on? We only do CGNAT on Vumatel Reach at this point, Vumatel Trenched, Aerial and other networks get public IP's by default, and we also offer static IP's for an additional fee, except on Openserve (coming soon)Thank you Guys, I'll check out Afrihost or Cool Ideas, as when I tried to phone MWEB, the Sales can't give me an answer about CGNAT.
I'll make the move if I'm 100% sure that Web Africa is not going to charge me a "Installation Clawback fee" . I asked them how can you charge me that, if everything was already installed. I didn't even asked for the router (which is still sealed) because I use my own Router.
They even charged me a connection feeI'm so annoyed by this experience.
Is it possible to have a public IP's on Vuma Reach?Which Fibre network are you on? We only do CGNAT on Vumatel Reach at this point, Vumatel Trenched, Aerial and other networks get public IP's by default, and we also offer static IP's for an additional fee, except on Openserve (coming soon)
According to your Website it's Vuma Aerial. So happy about that. Please tell me. Do I need to cancel Web Africa or is this automatic If I start with Cool-Ideas? WebAfrica did told me they won't charge me for the "Installation Clawback fee" so I just will need to double check again.Which Fibre network are you on? You will need to cancel and see out whatever terms they may have. Once they confirmed a cancellation date with you, you can apply with us and mention the date they will cancel. We will then place the order with Vumatel.According to your Website it's Vuma Aerial. So happy about that. Please tell me.
