Does anyone have it? Im going to buy it soon and I have a few questions to those who know about it or have it

1. The list of playable leagues on the game
2. Can you change the stadium (name, look, capacity)
3. Are all the logos for all the teams on there

Thanks

You shouldnt buy champ man. Buy football manager. When eidos and sports interactive(the creators of champ man) split a few years ago, eidos took the naming rights of the franchise and sports interactive continued creating its brilliant games under the football manager guise.

yeah, Xmnsx said... I have bought every champ manager version until the 2 companies separated, and then stuck to Football manager ever since. FM is definetely the better option as the game play and the game dynamics are just so much better.

I did play the demo of the latest Cham manager, and must say they have improved alot, but i still think FM2010 is lots better.. You cant change the stadium in FM, but why would u want to?

Im choosing CM10 because it's more British orientated than FM. It's better if you can customize things like stadiums. Does CM have a South African league?

Football manager has pretty much all the leagues you can think of. I know it has something like 4 of the english divisions(maybe more), same applies for the other major leagues like serie a and la liga, think it has the psl not 100% sure. The editor allows you to edit stadiums, whether the club is a plc or has a sugar daddy owner, ect. The editor really covers everything of a football club.

I've personally played both, I enjoy playing FM much more for some reason :)
FM2010 is great buy for anyone. Recommend it to anyone who loves footy!

Speaking as a crazy footy fan and football management fan FM2010 is the best one out there simply because of all the leagues and players and if you download the kits and logos and all those things its simply brilliant.

Having said that the latest release of CM shows that they are finally getting things together. So ill be definitely keeping my eye on CM from now on but FM2010 still top of the pops.

FM2010 has the Sa Leagues and everything, not sure about the latest release of CM though

I wanted to see how cm have improved this year, thats why I bought it as well as that it has more British "home" leagues where FM is more international based

FM2009 was a pile of poo. Hopefully 2010 will be better. I'll download the game and not rely on the demo like I did with 2009

Well, FM goes from league 2 to premiership.
if you are referring to things other than that, I can't realy comment sorry lol

Haha well I wanted to go deeper than League 2. CM goes to tier 7 of English http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_football_league_system as an old local club Hyde United is in Conference north:)

I'm sure you can play non league footie in FM and mange Hyde United;)

Heh, I did it with Hyde United in the same timespan. Two years of 15th place finishes, up via the playoffs, mid-table then Conference champions. Then went and finished second in League Two the following year. One of my youth players from the first season was my first choice striker throughout, scoring hatfuls. Got quite lucky in that respect.

I was lower mid table and safe in League One towards the end of the season when I stopped playing, and it's hard to get the motivation up to continue the game. Especially as it's only two months til the next version.

Do you then have to put it in manually with the editor?

That quote was from somebody playing FM2009. I'm sure they're available in the new game without the need for editing

EDIT: Just loaded FM 2008 and Hyde United is available. Must be in 2010 as well.

Ok. Well im ordering CM10 now and I'll see how it goes. If I don't enjoy it i'll buy Fm10. I just want to know since im in South Africa if CM10 have the local league.

FM2010 def has all the lower leagues from britain, cause i have read about guys playing in blue league or something like that there... Dont know why you would want to ever play with teams like that though.. ;-)

FM2010 has stacks of leagues. If you get the British Leagues fix from fm-base.co.uk (you can get lots of nice updates from here) you can play up until tier 10. 2010 is a huge improvement over 2009 (which was utter rubbish).
