So I have this cheap contract with MTN for R100 air time and 75MB of data (25MB free included), so anyway for some reason MTN has decided to renewal it on the 11th of every month instead of the 1st, how can I change it to the 1st?

I ask because my phone (Samsung S3) has the ability to monitor and cut off my data usage if I go over but the monitor only works from the 1st of a month.

I am on the Anytime 100 topup package.

Call them up and ask.

Otherwise, knowing MTN and their level of customer service, you may find it easier to change the data usage cycle on your phone. In the same place that you view the data usage, there is something called the data usage cycle which, if you click on it, will allow you to change to a different day of the month for reset.

MTN has weird Billing dates, mines run from 21st to 20th, my buddy has like yours 12th to 11th.
P.s you can change the date of the data Monitor.
If you using the default Android one the setting is there (check for Reset Data usage)

Fantastic sorted it out thank you sir.

I was going to suggest changing the date on your phone, and always remebering to subtract 11 days when using your calendar, as that would be less complicated than trying to get MTN to even understand the problem. :-)
