Hello Everyone,

Just a quick question... have any of you noticed a change in latency of late ?

I'm running smokePING to get an idea of latency averages on the network... I noticed something rather strange. Have a look at :

Hope we se another stepwise change down soon ;-)

Well, i just came back from a week holiday and started pinging the **** out of servers. Oe, and I love the new IP range btw. makes me feel special

Anyway, average local = 215m no packet loss (with a spike up to 600ms range once)
average international = 435ms no packet loss (with a spike up to 920ms once)

Going to try my hand at some UT now and see what happens :)

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

Let me know about the UT experience.

Fantasy is what people want, reality is what they need.

they kicked me out before i could play! [:(]

Naw, i dont have the legit version so I can like to not play online wifout the demo... which I can't get a local server for...

I don't suggest playing UT on my wireless. recently i played to a certain local server and the latency was so bad that (i tried this to test the ping) I fired a asmd shock rifel, took a step to the side, turn to look at the spot i fired the weapon, then i see the lazer getting fired out of thin air. looks quite cool BTW. Xp

Jy like watashi engrish?

Ah, in that case, check http://www.unrealza.co.za/wakka.php?wakka=LocalServers and scroll down for demo servers.
