Hi,

I have the tiny 3 GB DSL account at Telkom. As I just moved from Germany to East London I'm not familiar with SA DSL modem or router settings. If I buy a 30 GB account from Webafrica for instance how does it go on then? Do I have to change settings of my router and if so does anybody know how it works?

Thanks
Juergen

Let us know what router you have, and we'll help.

you will just have to change the username and password that you use to connect to the internet, right now you are using your telkom account, when you get your Webafrica account you do the exact same thing as what you did for the telkom account. No need to change settings on the router if you dial straight from your PC through the router. Hope this helps you!

Hey Juergen, welcome to MyADSL. You moved from Germany to East London? Are you crazy?? :) Just kidding. It's a great place.....for pensioners :)

Yep, all you will have to do is change username and password.

Have fun with the 30GB while it lasts.

EL is great :) even for those being still alive and well ;)
THANKS for support. It's just user name and password... never thought it could be that easy.

big thumbs-up to web-africa btw, only wish it could carry on like this
