Changed APN to blackberry... now Opera doesn't work!

So since I've been using my Torch, I've noticed on my account that I get billed for data every now and then. About R20 worth in 2 weeks.

I've now changed my APN to blackberry.net and everything still works fine except internet browsing through Opera.

How can I fix this?

May I ask why do u want to use Opera? OS6 browser did it for me. I had OS6 on my 9700 bt had to go back to OS5 because of the memory leak and lag. The thing I miss the most about OS6 is the browser.

That is indeed a good question. When Opera stopped working I switched back to BB Browser and its rather good. Opera also doesn't support the touch screen of the Torch. I just thought I might change a setting somewhere to get it to work as well.

Dude, I ONLY used Opera on my nokia. When I gt my BB I cudnt stand the BB browser so I installed Opera. Problem with opera was that nothing would download (browsing ws fine) so I was forced to use the BB browser and I began to get really used to it. And that was on OS5 nogal! Now I ONLY use the BB browser, I dnt even have Opera installed.

Certain versions of opera do not work on BIS, its properly the reason you were paying about R10/week for data. There are versions of opera browser that work exclusively via the internet apn in the event none is provided. If you transmit data via the internet apn you will pay.
